…”when all is said and done..”

After all the reading that you do of other people’s professed ways to achieve success in life, and after all the videos of the same that you watch, the most important part of this knowledge acquisition process is actually taking action to get cracking (going) and get some “runs on the score board” according to what you deem to be the right way forward for you. The “doing” is what matters most !

Yes, I read other people’s philosophies on life and the various roads that they have gone down to ultimately achieve successful outcomes, and I predict I will continue to open my mind to such input; but at the end of the day more than anything I set my direction in life by “trusting my gut” (i.e. instinctively sensing what the right thing to do is – mainly because it feels right inside me). Yes, I rationalise options/ choices with my brain but mostly are stirred to action by doing what feels right for me.

So “…when all is said and done…”; yes, be open to understanding other people’s perspectives and experiences in life, but have the courage and self-belief to chart your own course. Instinctively you’ll know what this course is…mainly because it feels right.

There are so many roads to take in life, and you’ll never know which road is the best fit for you until you take action and stroll down a few of them. Open the first door and go through it, and do your best at whatever the task is on the other side of that first door. By doing so, without even realising it, you will be creating the best opportunity for favourable future phases of your life.  Keep opening doors ! Have a go !
